Made in Japan in 1991, this is an excellent quality piano that would suit beginners up to professional musicians, with the added bonus of a full self playing system. It has been fully checked, tuned and regulated and is now ready for it’s next home. The design is very similar to the benchmark U1 but with the added Disklavier system - this turns the piano into a modern digital pianola, playing itself, with keys and pedal moving. Several disks of pieces are included and more can be downloaded, plus the piano has been fitted with a Bluetooth Receiver which allows the new owner to send directly from the PianoStream app. It is also possible to record performances and play them back.

Tone and tuning
Typical for Yamaha pianos - a very big, rich and bright tone, and a great dynamic range. It has just been tuned to concert pitch (A=440).
Keyboard and action
Keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated - plays smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight.
Hammers and strings
There is only slight wear in the hammers, and strings are in excellent condition too - see photos.
Case
Lovely bright black polyester finish case in very good condition. This has been well looked after with just a few minor signs of age here and there. It will look fantastic in a modern or classic styled home. It is on castors and moves quite easily. Matching adjustable stool included in the price.
