This is a very good quality piano made by Young Chang in South Korea in 1996. Young Chang are a very well established piano manufacturer who have built pianos for many other brands and collaborated with the likes of Yamaha and Steinway, offering great value for money, high build quality and a rich and pleasant tone. Their pianos use high quality parts such as Royal George felts and German Roslau strings, are of consistently very good quality and once set up well they are fantastic pianos on a par with similar sized models by Yamaha and Kawai at a much lower price. This has been very well looked after but only quite lightly used and now thoroughly checked and reconditioned by ourselves. This would be ideal for beginners to advanced players and being very similar in size and design to the Yamaha U3, it would be an ideal choice for someone looking for a high quality large upright piano at a much lower price than a U3.
Tone and tuning
Lovely big and rich tone that is well balanced between brightness and warmth and even throughout the registers. Very wide dynamic range. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).
Keyboard and action
The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight and very responsive action. Well suited to advanced level playing, but equally perfect for beginners.
Hammers and strings
These are both in excellent condition. Further photos to follow.
Sound board
Excellent condition solid spruce, no cracks or splits.
Case
Stunning looking black high gloss case, which is in very good condition throughout - there are a few small blemishes but these are hardly noticeable. We have buffed the whole case to restore its shine.
