This is a very high quality grand piano, made in 1992 in the Czech Republic by the renowned Petrof company. Petrofs are very highly regarded for their tonal quality and rightly so. They offer high quality craftsmanship and wonderful warm ‘European’ tone for a much more affordable price than the top German piano makers. This particular piano had been very well looked after and tuned regularly but the mahogany gloss case was quite faded in places so we have had the whole piano professionally refinished in a timeless gloss black, which looks absolutely stunning. Petrof’s equivalent piano would be around £37,000 new so this is a great opportunity to purchase a top quality European made grand piano at a very competitive price. At 6 ft 3 inches, this piano would be very well suited to a large room within the home or a small to medium sized concert venue. Video demos available on request and viewings are always welcome.
Tone and tuning
Lovely rich and warm, yet sparkling tone, and with a very big dynamic range. Excellent strong bass section and the treble is wonderfully clear and bell like without any harshness. It is at concert pitch (A=440).
Keyboard and action
The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the Petrof action plays smoothly across the whole keyboard, with a medium weight.
Hammers and strings
Hammers are in excellent condition, refaced and voiced. Strings in very good condition also.
Sound board
Excellent condition, no flaws.

Beautiful looking black gloss finish - a stunning looking piece of furniture as well as a fantastic piano.
Dimensions
6 ft 3 inches long - a similar size to the Yamaha C3 - very impressive in stature and sound, this is large enough to give the player and listener the full and immersive experience of a grand piano while still being able to fit within many homes. Alternatively this would be an ideal size for bars, restaurants, theatres etc.
