This is a very high quality grand piano, made in 1999 in the Czech Republic by the renowned Petrof company. Petrofs are very highly regarded for their tonal quality and rightly so - we regard them as probably the best value fully European made pianos. They offer high quality craftsmanship and wonderful deep and rich ‘European’ tone for a much more affordable price than the top German piano makers. This particular piano has been well looked after but not played very much and features the Renner / Petrof action (an upgrade from Petrof's own standard action). There is some slight fading to the case (see photos) but it is still a stunning looking instrument and internally it is as good as new. This piano is around £30,000 new so this is a great opportunity to purchase a top quality European made grand piano in nearly new condition at an unbeatable price. At 5ft 8 inches, this piano would be very well suited to a large room within the home or perhaps a small to medium sized concert venue. Tone and tuning
Lovely rich and sparkling tone, and with a very big dynamic range. Excellent strong bass section and the treble is wonderfully clear and bell like without any harshness. Tuned to concert pitch prior to delivery (A=440).
 
Keyboard and action
The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the Renner action, as found in Steinways, plays very smoothly across the whole keyboard, with a medium weight.
 
Hammers and strings
Hammers and strings are both in excellent condition, almost as new.
 
Sound board
Excellent condition, no flaws.
 
Case
Beautiful looking mahogany case with high gloss polyester lacquer - a stunning looking piece of furniture as well as a fantastic piano. Slight fading which can be seen in photos and this is reflected in the price.
 
Dimensions
 
5 ft 8 inches or 173cm long, 5 ft / 152.5cm wide  - the same size as a Yamaha C2 / G2 / GC2 / C2X - very impressive in stature and sound, this is large enough to give the player and listener the full and immersive experience of a grand piano while still being able to fit within most homes. Alternatively this would be an ideal size for bars, restaurants, theatres etc.
