This is an excellent quality piano made by the highly respected Knight company in England in 1991. It would be great for beginners to advanced players, and has been very well looked after. We just love Knight pianos and always try to have one or two K10s available for sale - they are among the best smallish uprights ever built. The ‘London’ model is quite rare, a slightly different design from the K10, with Knight’s impressive attention to detail and fine craftsmanship throughout. Video demo available on request.
 
 
Tone and tuning 
 
This piano has a lovely sound, very welll balanced between warm and bright - a classic and rounded ‘European’ tone. Very good dynamic range and the bass is particlualry strong and resonant for a piano this size. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).


Keyboard and action

The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition. The British made Langer made action has been regulated to play perfectly smoothly across the whole keyboard with a light to medium weight action, which will suit most players, including beginners. Very responsive high quality action.

Hammers and strings

Strings are in excellent condition and the hammers have slight wear, and have been lightly refaced, with lots of fresh felt.
 
 
Sound board

European spruce soundboard - in perfect condition, no cracks or splits.


Case

In a traditional looking Light Walnut Satin case with front legs, this piano is as beautiful to see as it is to hear! Dimensions - 144 cm wide, 55.5 deep, 112 tall - a fairly compact modern upright that doesn't compromise on quality. Matching adjustable stool included.
