This is a very good quality piano made by the highly regarded Samick company in South Korea in the mid 1990s. It has been very well looked after but only lightly used and now thoroughly checked and reconditioned by ourselves. This would be ideal for beginners to advanced players and being the same size as the benchmark Yamaha U1, and of very similar design, with high quality parts used throughout, it would be an ideal choice for someone looking for a quality full sized upright piano at a much lower price than a U1 of the same age.


Tone and tuning

Lovely tone that is big, bright, rich and even throughout the registers. Very good dynamic range. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).


Keyboard and action

The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has just been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight action. Perfect for beginners or advanced pianists.


Hammers and strings

Very little wear in the hammers - this piano has not been played much at all. Strings also in superb condition - see photos.


Sound board

Excellent condition solid spruce, no cracks or splits.


Case

Stunning looking dark rosewood case with polyester high gloss lacquer, which is in very good condition indeed - there are a couple of small marks here and there, consistent with the piano’s age but hardly noticeable.
