Tone and tuning 
 
This piano has a very pleasant well-rounded tone, well balanced between brightness and warmth - deep and strong in the bass through to a clear singing treble, and excellent dynamic range. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).


Keyboard and action

The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight action which is very responsive indeed - suitable for advanced level playing. 
 
Hammers and strings

Strings in perfect condition and very little wear in the hammers.


Sound board

Solid spruce soundboard in excellent as new condition.


Case

The black gloss case is in overall very condition but there are some small blemishes consistent with age and use, and some cracking to the lacquer on the fall (keyboard lid) where it would appear something has been dropped onto it at some point. This is not at all visible when the fall is up and only noticable close up when it is closed. We have buffed the whole case and tidied up the imperfections so this piano looks fantastic and lovely and shiny but is not in brand new condition and this is reflected in the price. Brand new adjustable stool as pictured is included in the sale.
