This is a very good quality Japanese piano made in 1983 by Atlas, one of Japan’s smaller but well regarded piano companies. This piano would suit any level of piano player from beginners up to advanced level. It is of comparable size (and quality) to the renowned Yamaha U1 but at a much more affordable price point. This piano has just been through our workshop for a very thorough check, cleaning, polishing, action adjustments and tuning and is now ready for its next home!
Tone and tuning
Big and rich tone and a wide dynamic range. Very good bass and the treble is nice and clear. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).
Keyboard and action
The key tops are modern plastic and in very good condition. This piano has a medium weight, very responsive action, suitable for all abilities.
Hammers and strings
Not very much wear in the hammers, as visible in the photos. Strings in very good condition also.
Sound board
Excellent condition spruce, no cracks, splits or ripples.
Case
Dark rosewood gloss finish, in very good condition. Some minor cosmetic chips etc but these are only noticeable close up and the piano looks great overall. We have buffed the case to restore the shine and touched up the dents etc. Not quite a brand new looking piano but very presentable.

123cm tall x 62 deep x 149 wide (widest point at top lid). A full sized upright piano.
